I love it when a film comes together

The photo to your right shows the author of this blog circa 1984. I may be short a mohawk, but the Mr. T-starter-kit should make it easy to guess what movie I was dying to see this summer. And for the person who can’t guess, well… I pity the fool! Continue reading

Goonies Never Say Die

This map apparently shows how to bike from Astoria to Cannon Beach in five minutes.

What do you mean there’s only 24 hours in a day?

Those of you who visited this blog lately have probably noticed that I haven’t written a darn thing for a while. I haven’t given up on blogging, in fact I wish I could do it every day. Unfortunately, the demands of raising two kids (3 years and eight months old) have made it increasingly difficult to find time to hit the keyboard. Really, the only time I can write are on mornings like this, when I have a few spare moments at work. Which is why there haven’t been any posts in a long time.
So, I’m basically writing this to apologize, and let you know that I’m trying to address this (and give you a reason to actually visit). So, in the next two weeks or so, I’ll begin posting video blogs (which require much less time than writing) to give you a little “behind the scenes look” at Good Day Oregon. I’ll also try to write about subjects you may or may not find interesting (like today’s posting on The Goonies), but those posts will probably be shorter than previous ones. Anyways, I appreciate you stopping by and hope to connect with you online again soon!
